TWO THIRD PLACES FOR VORTEX AT THE OK AND OKJ EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

The third position in the OKJ final reached by Harley Keeble crowns a fantastic weekend, where Vortex engines play a leading role in both categories and centre two prestigious results in the championship


OKJ: After the third position conquered in the KZ European Championship, Vortex gains the podium of the OKJ European Championship thanks to the Finn Tuukka Taponen (Tony Kart Racing Team). In the final of the last round of the FIA Karting European Championship run in Wackersdorf,is Harley Keeble (Tony Kart Racing Team) the one managing to bring Vortex onto the third step of the Final podium, after making the most of our engines to obtain also three first and a second position in the Qualifying Heats together with a best lap.

Among the 14 Vortex DJT engines lined up in Final, those reaching the top ten belong to Karol Pasiewicz (Tony Kart Racing Team), fifth and author of the best lap right in the decisive race and two best laps in the heats, Bruno Del Pino (Tony Kart Racing Team), seventh, and Aiden Neate (Tony Kart Racing Team) who gathers a second and two third places in the Qualifying Heats. Alfio Spina (Tony Kart Racing Team), tenth after a ten-position comeback and author of two best laps, comes ahead of Maxim Rehm (Tony Kart Racing Team), who is gaining two victories and a third position in the heats with Vortex. With our engines, also Coskun Irfan (Ricky Flynn Motorsport) and Alexander Gubenko (Kosmic Kart Racing Department) are recovering 16 and 10 positions, respectively.
Also Arthur Rogeon (Exprit Racing Team) and Dion Gowda (Ricky Flynn Motorsport) are joining the list of successful drivers, able to centre two and one best laps, respectively.

OK: Vortex is playing a leading role also in the Senior class with DST engines. One of the best drivers at the end of the weekend is Luigi Coluccio (Kosmic Kart Racing Department), fourth in final and author of two victories, two best laps in the heats and a best lap in his qualifying group. Vortex is also gaining the third position in the general rating of the category thanks to Joseph Turney (Tony Kart Racing Team) and three further victories in the Qualifying Heats thanks to Norton Andreasson (Ward Racing) and Nikita Bedrin (Ward Racing), both centring two best laps too.
