Beginning of season with a poker of WSK titles

06-05-2014

At the eve of the first round of the CIK-FIA European Championship, for KF and KF Junior categories, we can resume the events of the season until now.
Ardigò (KZ), Basz (KF) and Enaam (KFJ) gained several WSK titles thanks to the power of our engines.

Vortex engines shone in all categories, recovering prestigious success both in the WSK Champions Cup, and in the WSK Super Master.
In the Champions Cup, RKF engines were leaders in both categories, winning the title with Karol Basz (Tony Kart Racing Team) after the second position in the opening event and the success in the second competition.
In KFJ too we gained the title thanks to the English driver Enaam Ahmed of the Ricky Flynn Motorsport team, winner of the first round of the Champions Cup. Ahmed missed the WSK title and fought with another Vortex driver, his teammate Max Fewtrell, winner of the second round.
In KZ category Flavio Camponeschi missed the podium of the Champions Cup for a hair’s breadth, closing both competitions in the second position. But the payback in KZ for the Vortex RVZ engine arrived with Marco Ardigò, leader in the WSK Super Master Series with two victories and a second place. Enaam Ahmed and the Ricky Flynn Motorsport were once more the protagonists on the occasion of the Super Master Championship for KFJ category. With a third position in the opening competition and the success in the last round, at La Conca, they took also this title home. Still in the cadet class we cannot miss the success gained in the second round, at Castelletto di Branduzzo, with Mauricio Baisz (RB Kart Technology).
All these successes at the beginning of the season are put together the several steps of the podium obtained by the numerous drivers running with Vortex engines and are a good premise at the eve of the first round of the European Championship for KF and KF Junior, scheduled from the 9th to the 11th of May at the International Circuit of La Conca (Italy).
Next weekend finals and drivers with our engines will be broadcast live at www.cikfiachampionship.com  and www.cikfia.tv
