EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP FOR OK, OKJ AND KZ2 IN LE MANS
The CIK FIA European Championship’s round for OK (3°rnd), OKJ (3°rnd) and KZ2 (2°rnd) categories took place in Le Mans. Vortex engines have been the most appreciated, taking not less than 44% of the entry list of OK class, including the DDS engine.
OK - VORTEX DDS
At the end of the third OK round, the ranking is clear and sees in the top-ten positions seven drivers running with Vortex DDS engines. With Vidales (Tony Kart Racing Team) and Pourchaire (Kosmic Kart Racing Department) occupying the first two positions of the standings.
In Le Mans the Vortex engines won with Petecof and Pourchaire in qualifying, ranking first in group-1 and 2 respectively. Pourchaire and Basz were the leaders in two heats each and in the final the DDS were on the podium thanks to Taoufik (Ricky Flynn Motorsport) and Kenneally (Baby Race srl), with the second and third place.

OKJ - VORTEX DDJ
Rosso's DDJ engine signed the pole position and in the heats five Vortex won, thanks to Doohan (Ricky Flynn Motorsport), Rosso (Baby Race srl), Henrion (Baby Race srl), Morozov (Ward Racing) and Thompson (Ricky Flynn Motorsport). The DDJ presence in the entry list was once again consistent, with more than 44% of attendance.
In the absolute standings, at the end of the third of the six scheduled rounds, the best DDJ engine is Thompson’s, with the third place.

KZ - VORTEX RKZ
RKZ confirmed with Viganò (Tony Kart Racing Team) and Köhler (KSM Kart Racing Team) one of the best engines, winning two heats and still staying in the top five.
Viganò has the opportunity to continue his fight for the European title at the end of July on the Swedish circuit of Kristianstad.
