At the La Conca Circuit (Italy), on the occasion of the second and final round of the championship, the VTM engine dominates the scene with a double success in the finals of the MINI Gr.3 and MINI Gr.3 U10 categories.

MINI Gr.3 – After the second position gained on the occasion of the first round at Franciacorta, the Vortex VTM climbs to the top step of the podium in the last round of the championship. In the qualifyings, Leonardo Gorski (Tony Kart Racing Team) sets the fourth best time, while in the subsequent qualifying heats he takes the second place. However, a stop in the second heat forces the Polish driver to start the final from the middle of the grid.

Despite some problems arising from a start in the middle of the group, Gorski is the protagonist of the last race of the weekend, also thanks to the performance of his Vortex VTM engine: in the first lap he is able to climb the ranking up to fifth position, while in the middle stages he takes the third place. But that’s not all, since in the third last lap Leonardo takes the leadership of the race and doesn't leave it until the checkered flag, thus taking the victory with more than a second over his direct followers.

Two other drivers attend the Saturday afternoon's final: Henri Kumpen (Tony Kart Racing Team) is fourth in the early laps and finishes the race in the top-10, ahead of his teammate Oliver Sini (Tony Kart Racing Team), who finishes third in the pre-final.

MINI Gr.3 U10 – An almost perfect weekend for the Vortex VTM, which is the leader of the category from the qualifyings to the checkered flag. Achille Rea (Tony Kart Racing Team) takes the pole position in chrono practices, with a time of 52.473 seconds, after which he collects three victories in the three scheduled qualifying heats as well as a further success in Saturday morning's pre-final. Thanks to this complete control, the young Tony Kart Racing Team bearer secures the first place on the starting grid of the final.

In the last race in Muro Leccese, Rea completes the work: at the start he is able to run ahead everybody in the first meters, gains a considerable advantage over his rivals in the following laps and does not make any mistake in the final stages. This performance directly delivers the victory into the hands of the Italian driver.

Li Linghan (Tony Kart Racing Team) and Tiberius Müller (Tony Kart Racing Team) also enter the final, both able to cross the finish line in the scoring zone.
