In the final round of the FIA Karting European Championship for KZ, KZ2, and KZ2 Masters in Italy, the VTZ engine from OTK Kart Group’s “engine division” secured third place in the KZ category.

KZ – After the positive results achieved in the previous round in Spain, the VTZ engine once again proved to be one of the protagonists in the premier category of shifter karts, this time in Val Vibrata, Italy. With Lorenzo Camplese (Tony Kart Racing Team), Vortex secured third place in the intermediate standings at the end of Saturday, while on Sunday morning, it dominated the superheat from the start to the checkered flag.

Thanks to an excellent start, Camplese immediately took second place in the final and remained in contention for the podium until the last lap. The Italian thus secured a well-deserved third place after a weekend at the top. The VTZ unit of Tom Leuillet (Tony Kart Racing Team) also finished among the top ten. Also participating in the weekend, all powered by Vortex engines, were Francesco Celenta (Tony Kart Racing Team), Matteo Benedetti (Benedetti Matteo), and Marijn Kremers (Tony Kart Racing Team).
