On the occasion of the second round of the FIA Karting European Championship, OTK Kart Group's “engine division” is running for an important result in the final of the OKJ category with Ilie Tristan Crisan (Tony Kart Racing Team), powered by the VTJ engine.

OKJ – Vortex VTJ comes to Viterbo with a podium gained in the previous championship round held in Portimão, Portugal. The weekend starts well with Ilie Tristan Crisan's (Tony Kart Racing Team) best chrono time in Group 3 of the qualifying session, valid for second place in the combined classification, and Oliveri Sini's (Tony Kart Racing Team) fourth in Group 2. The Canadian and the Indonesian drivers thus enrich the OTK Kart Group's “engine division” haul, with three victories and two podiums in the subsequent qualifying heats. Crisan also wins the Super Heat B, setting the fastest lap time.

Thanks to the results obtained during the event, Crisan secures the second position on the starting grid of the Sunday afternoon's final. The young driver of the Tony Kart Racing Team jumps well and, thanks to a very good pace, immediately weakens the leadership of the poleman; however, during the fourth lap, the two come into collision, an episode that will prevents Crisan from finishing the race. Sini, too, who started from the fifth row, has to end the race prematurely due to an accident.

OK – The Viterbo round sees a total of 76 entrants in OK, a category that once again sees the Vortex VTS engine at the start. Despite a fifth place obtained in Friday morning's first series of free practices, Jindřich Pešl (Tony Kart Racing Team) starts a difficult weekend, but makes it to the starting grid of the final. Thomas Pradier (Tony Kart Racing Team), who had a positive start on Saturday with the second place in the warm-up, also competes attends the final race of the weekend.

Academy-Senior - The FIA Karting Academy Trophy, the championship promoted by the International Automobile Federation (FIA) which sees OTK Kart Group in the front row with the supply to all the participants of both Exprit Kart chassis and engines by Vortex, is on the Viterbo track for the second round reserved to the ‘Seniors’. Sunday afternoon's final ends with the victory of Jules Avril (France), who crosses the finish line ahead of Harrison Whitticombe (UK), second, and Ates Birinci (Turkey), third position and author of the fastest lap of the race.
