KZ2 Masters – The Vortex VTZ engine is at the starting grid of the only round valid for the FIA Karting European Championship of the ‘Masters’ category. After a good sequence, in terms of results, on Friday and Saturday, Andre Nicastro (Tony Kart Racing Team) emerges clearly in the Sunday's final. The Brazilian driver, who jumped from the sixth row, recovers several positions and comes close to the podium by just three tenths of a second. Roberto Profico (Tony Kart Racing Team) also shows a good pace in the opening laps of the final race of the weekend but is then forced to raise the white flag before the chequered flag.

KZ – In the master class of the shifter category, the Vortex VTZ engine occupies a place at the top of the standings during the event. Tom Leuillet (Tony Kart Racing Team) sets the fifth fastest time in the qualifyings, a tenth of a second from the pole position, and keeps his ranking position at the end of the qualifying heats. During the final, Leuillet is firmly in the top-5 in the early stages and passes under the chequered flag in the top-10.

Francesco Celenta (Tony Kart Racing Team), the best of the Vortex drivers in the super heat, finishes behind his teammate Leuillet, while Marijn Kremers (Tony Kart Racing Team) is heavily affected by a collision on the first lap.
