10-06-2026

At the German circuit of Mülsen, scene of the third round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series, our ‘engine division’ finishes the OKJ final in third place and sets the fastest time in the OK class qualifying session.

OKJ – Vortex is back on the podium in this season’s Champions of the Future Euro Series, at the third round in Mülsen, which gathered 93 entrants. Three drivers powered by our engines gain the top positions in the qualifyings, with Emerson MacAndrew-Uren (Tony Kart Racing Team) second in Group 3, Julian Frasnelli (Tony Kart Racing Team) third in Group 1 and Stepan Mazepin (Tony Kart Racing Team) third in Group 2.

During the qualifying heats, the OTK Kart Group’s ‘engine division’ collects four wins and two third-place finishes, while in Super Heat B takes the third place. In the final, Frasnelli performs a remarkable comeback, climbing not less than 27 places to secure the lowest step of the podium. The Italian driver is also third in the championship standings, with a total of 185 points.

MacAndrew-Uren is in contention for the lead from the very start of Saturday afternoon’s race, but on the final lap he is penalised by a collision that prevents him from finishing on the podium. Despite this, the British driver finishes the race in the top 10. Behind him we find Mazepin, who had makes a 16-place recovery but is then given a five-second penalty.

OK – The “Senior” class jumps at the best possible start with Ilie Tristan Crisan (Tony Kart Racing Team) securing the pole position in the qualifyings, thanks to a fastest lap of 47.793 in Group 1 – a time that will become the event record by the end of the weekend. Vortex continues its positive run with six wins and two top-three finishes in the qualifying heats, as well as a second place in Super Heat B.

The final sees Crisan firmly occupy the top positions, thanks in part to perfect race management. The Canadian driver, however, is forced to retire with two laps to go. Jindřich Pešl (Tony Kart Racing Team) narrowly misses the top 10, finishing ahead of his teammates Valerio Viapiana (Tony Kart Racing Team) and Gilles Herman (Tony Kart Racing Team).
