VTS-N

Displacement 125 CC
Max Torque 15.000 RPM

The VTS-N is the first engine in the Vortex Engines range designed to comply with the OK-N regulations, the new category established by the FIA Karting, thanks also to the technical contribution provided by Vortex itself, for national championships, starting from 2023. This new unit takes the shape of the VTS model, the engine reserved for the OK class, the international Senior category of Direct Drive karts, and shares some structural features such as the 104 mm connecting rod and the same type of exhaust, but it lacks - as per CIK-FIA regulations - the exhaust valve and has a rev limiter set at 15,000 rpm. But the special features of this power unit do not end there.

Focusing on the same newness of the latest OK-N, the OTK Kart Group's Engine Division R&D department focused on the design of an engine capable of granting low running costs and high performance at the same time. The VTS-N, in this sense, is based on a renewed design of both cylinder and barrel.

As for the basic accessories included with the purchase of this new-entry unit, a diaphragm carburettor with a 24 mm diameter Venturi duct is supplied. The VTS-N can also be used to attend the OKJ-N, the Junior category of the OK-N, by fitting, however, a special narrow-section exhaust manifold.
