The new VTS model is specifically designed to compete at the highest levels of both national and international competitions in the OK category, the master class of the FIA Direct-Drive karting. This engine picks up the important baton of its predecessor, the DTS (able of winning no less than 2 world titles in four years), sharing the features at the basis of its successes: lightness, ease of management and use, effective set up of masses and centre of gravity, compact dimensions and reliability. In addition, the VTS takes advantage of new structures: above all, the renewed design of the exhaust valve, a solution that ensures greater efficiency at low revs and better overall engine performance.

Among the various innovations introduced by Vortex with the VST model, an unprecedented manufacturing process stands out: the paired crankcase boring. This further processing phase of the engine crankcase plastically represents the continuous effort, in terms of research and development, that the Engine Division of OTK Kart Group constantly makes to refine and improve its engines.

In fact, this production process makes it possible to achieve a higher final quality level of the product with positive effects both in terms of quality and repeatability of the various models manufactured and in terms of performance and reliability.
